Why do they feel Safe & Happy in a SHe certified hotel?

"I know that everything is done in hotels for absolute security, but I was once approached at check-in by a stranger who asked me if I was alone in my room. So, that night, I blocked my door with a chair. And since then I ask for two keys: one for me and one for my husband. What we would like is that little something that doesn't change anything, but that changes everything: a room with double security if we ask for it, a person from the hotel to whom we can discreetly report a problem of harassment."

"The loneliness of the hotel room after an intense day, I can't get used to it. I often think that there must be other women in the hotel who are in the same situation as me. I personally am not able to approach a foreigner in the elevator even when I see a fellow countrywoman there. But if there was an app that brings together women who are in the same situation. It would be enough to search according to affinities, proximity, or language to share a moment, exchange impressions, dine in a nice place, it would be absolutely great to meet other women. Obviously I'm not sexist, it could be a man, but then these apps already exist!"

What I don't condone is the hotel bartender's knowing wink to the stranger who invites me to share his olives, and then rushes to clean the counter for me to sit down. Unacceptable complicity of men. Complaining would be normal. But what would be even better if it didn't happen anymore."
