10 best addresses in NAPLES by Maria, a SHe Travel Guide

Ciao! My name is Maria 🙂

and as you may have guessed I’m Italian and I love my country even if I’ve been living in Paris (the city of love) for 6 years.

But my dream is to have one day my own house on four wheels, a van to travel around the world.
As you can see, I love to travel!

Curious, creative and determined, I naturally chose to combine my passion with my work.

Today, I work full time as a content creator and travel blogger for SHe Travel Club,

If you love Italy, food, history and fashion, follow my blog to discover Italy in a different way, the dolce vita, the dolce farniente and the best kept secrets of the Italian ragazzi, the best pizzas, cafés and the must-see places to meet the Italian youth, my fashion addresses and cultural places not to be missed.

Let’s start with my favourite city, Naples.

The southern atmosphere, the music, the chaos, the art and architecture, the energy and above all the unbeatable value for money pizzas, make Naples one of the most beautiful destinations in the world.

You may come back with a few extra pounds, but this historic city is worth a visit. Southern atmosphere guaranteed!

“Naples knows how to amaze us without artifice. No make-up to camouflage the scratches, it lives at its own pace with its faults…”.

Naples and the dolce vita !

Caffè, Cappuccino, Sfogliatelle, Babà, Pizza, calzoni, pasta al ragù.
This is not an episode of Masterchef, but a few hours’ escapade in Naples!

To visit Naples is to travel back in time and discover more than just a city, but a universe.

When to go to Naples?
You can visit Italy all year round.
La Dolce Vita is experienced from January to December!

Do you dream of experiencing Naples at 360° and relaxing in a spa?
The perfect address for you is the Cellammare Suite & Spa

Located directly on Via Chiaia, in Naples, the Cellamare Suite & Spa offers rooms and suites with sauna, jacuzzi and emotional shower as well as a 1.5 hour spa treatment that is a MUST!
Piazza Plebiscito is 700 metres from Cellamare Suite & Spa.
The San Carlo Theatre is 500 metres away.

What to visit? My must-sees

The historic centre of Naples is a Unesco World Heritage Site.
Spaccanapoli, San Gregorio Armeno with its emblematic nativity scenes and good luck charms, IT’S A MUST!

AND OF COURSE, EAT A LOT OF PIZZAS!
For your information, the oldest pizzeria in Naples, “Da Michele” makes the best pizza in the world at just 3 Euros! It keeps its authentic character by offering just two flavours of pizza, but I don’t want to spoil the surprise, so what are you waiting for? GO!
It’s easy to eat in Naples, whether it’s in Via Spaccanapoli and the pizzas al taglio (by the slice) or in the restaurant, you’ll easily find something to enjoy! I remind you that Neapolitan pizza is a World Heritage Site, so take some time to taste it!

Forget about work and the clouds of Paris and have a drink at the Lungomare!
Walk along the Lungomare from Castel dell’Ovo to Mergellina, you won’t regret it 🙂

Shopping on Via Toledo, a MUST

Stroll through the Quartieri Spagnoli

I invite you to go beyond your preconceived ideas and discover the real Naples, a city with many facets whose greatest assets are the kindness of its inhabitants and its gastronomy.

Naples is feeling !

It is a city that is so difficult to describe, like a powerful feeling that captures you, grabs you, exhausts you and never leaves you.

Naples is noisy, then poetic, then breathtaking, that’s what makes it unique!
